ok, so every mom (ok, not every mom, but most...) I know uses diaper cream during every single diaper change as a preventative measure. My thought is that of if you use it all of the time, your child will build immunity to it. I am not sure if I am way off base or not.
What are your thoughts on this? Do you use diaper cream at every change, or just when you see a rash appearing?
Thanks!
Re: Thoughts on diaper cream?
You can't get immune to it (it's not an antibiotic!), but you don't need to use it all the time. We only use something if DS looks red. He's never had a bad rash.
We used coconut oil every time for the first few weeks... and then we got lazy and nothing happened.
