Having a horrible day :(

in TTC After a Loss

Nothing is going right at clinical today - I feel so overwhelmed and like the nurses are fighting against me....I can't be everywhere at once!  I have students on 3 different units that I'm responsible for and I'm doing my best to get around to everyone, but I seriously can't do everything!

My first group just finished, and now I have a short break before my afternoon group starts and thankfully I do have a TA to help, but I just feel so defeated right now and wish I could go home, crawl into bed and just cry :(

    Take a deep breath.  Just do the best you can, you can't be everywhere at once.  Everyone has those days when everything seems out of control.  I hope your afternoon group is easier to handle.

    Aw peach, I'm so sorry you're having a rough day.  I hate days like those.

    Thank you so much gals - I'm so happy I brought my laptop to clinical today.....which is actually b/c I have a "disgruntled" student who wants to talk about her grades, and I'm being generous giving her a "C" for some of the work she turns in, ugh! 

     Dh just called me too, so I've had some pep talks and think I'll be able to make it without wanting to go to the bathroom and start crying.  I love you gals so much *hugs*

    I'm sorry.  I have days like that like every day at work!  Seriously, just grin and bear it until it's time to go.  Your home life is more important than work, just remember that.

    I'm sorry peachy.... I give you so much credit for teaching clinicals...

    It is something I aspire to do some day, but it also scares the crap out of me!!!!!
