Daycare just texted that she is having a melt down and she has tried numerous things (she listed them ) and asked if there is something specific DH and I do to calm her.

She said she finally fell asleep but that she wanted to be held the whole time. I still want to run to her.

That is so hard. I'm sorry. I'm glad she fell asleep. Hopefully she will wake up refreshed and forget the whole thing.

Oh no! I hate calls like that. Your heart just sinks and stays sunk until you're with them again. I hope she wakes up a happy girl and was just overtired!

I got a smilar text yesterday. It was from DH though. It was all I could do not to leave work at the time. I made DH text as soon as she woke up and let me know how she was. I would have left work if she woke up still upset. She of course was fine the rest of the day and happy as always when I got home. It's hard to stick around after that even though I know these days are bound to happen I can still hate them right? Anyway hugs to you and hopefully she will be back to her normal self when she wakes up.
