3rd Trimester

Later 3rd tri moms with breech babies

I just found out the other day that this baby is completely breech (my other 2 were transverse for awhile, but never completely head up).

How are you feeling with your breech baby?  I feel like I'm way more uncomfortable than I was at this point with the other two.

Do you think your baby will turn?  Why or why not?

Are you doing anything to get baby to turn?

Do you feel like you have a weird belly shape b/c of being breech?  I do!  I was much more of a watermellon before, now I had an odd shape.  Low and very wide in front, it's super attractive.  ;-)

  • You still have a LOT of time for LO to turn.  I was transverse at 36 weeks, breech at 37, and then baby flipped at 38 weeks.  I was feeling more uncomfortable with this LO, but I still feel awfully uncomfortable.  I didn't do anything to get baby to turn, they did it all on their own.

I know that.  It doesn't really matter for me, I'm having a c/s no matter what.  This will be my 3rd.  I am just wondering how other moms are feeling.

This makes me feel good. LO has been transverse with his head up in my ribs for a good 10 weeks now.

I don't have anything to compare it to cuz its all i know. I do feel like i carry wide though. Its kinda nice right now cuz I don't have pressure low or pain in my ribs.

  • This is my second breech baby. My son was complete breech with no sign of flipping or even moving side ways. I have never had a head down baby, so I cannot compare, but both times the baby's head replaced my stomach, lol! My son especially was trying to rip the flesh off of my ribcage with his head!

Indifferent I thought boys were supposed to be nicer to their mamas!  ;-)

  • I am 35 weeks 2 days and this is my second breech baby. I was going to try for a VBAC but found out at my last appointment baby wasn't cooperating :-) I don't think I will try a version at this point since my first never turned. I'm feeling more and more uncomfortable (hands in ribs, low low kicks), but it feels the same as my first so I don't know any different!

  • Before I found out at 36 weeks my baby was breech, it did feel different. A lot more kicking in my groin and more pain in my ribs.

I decided to go through with a version to get her to flip and it worked, no complications. Today is my due date and as of yesterday, she was still head down, so phew!
