Dx frustration... Pdd or ASD

So why is so hard to get DD an ASD DX or even a PDD! I keep getting bounced around from one dr to the next, We have seen develop peds and they want her seen by the child development center and they are saying they will not see her until she is 3.5! I just want to know whats wrong with her so I can get the help she needs, in the mean time I am ready to pull my hair out because she is so defiant.... We can not go out in public what so ever because its an overload on her and she melts, we cant do play groups because if there is more than 1 child there she becomes violent and detached from the group.... Sorry about the grammer I am typing from my phone and just needed to vent......

    Sorry you're going through this...it's so hard when you don't have an answer to your child's issues.  I am in the same boat right now- we have our appts. set- but not till mid March...so, more waiting, and more coping.

    On another note, she had/has beautiful hair!!!

    I live near you and got a PDD-NOS diagnosis for my daughter at 2.5 years old. Where has she been seen? 

    I am new to the bump and don't know how to PM. But I would be happy to share our journey to a diagnosis with you.

    Its the matter of the whole thing really, we have been seen by delvlope peds but they will not give her the DX of ASD but they feel she has it but wants to give her PDD which is fine but she wont do it she wants us to go see the CDC (child Devlope Center). I now that it can take some time but if we havebeen having issues for 2 years now and have been over this a million times why does it have to be so freaking hard! I managed to get her on SSI on the first try just by a phycalogical exam a year ago but they can come up with something and my drs cant? I mainly just needed  to vent some where and its just building up and neeed to let it out lol, I will definatly look that book up and read it because I am just about tapped out lol!
