6 weeks and only a sac...

Sigh!

We got a BFP on 1/22 after miscarrying in November and having a D&C on 12/9. Needless to say we were ecstatic but also scared as h*ll. Saw my OB on 1/24 and she could only see a thickening of my lining and assured me it was too early. HCG that day was 82, two days later 234 and two days after that 660. So number wise all looks great. Progesterone level was only a 9 so we started on Crinone right away and have been on it since.

That same week I got my lab results from our blood clotting panel and low and behold I am homo for MTHFR and Factor V Lieden. So I also started heparin and neevo last week.

Today was our repeat u/s and there was a healthy looking sac measuring 6 weeks but no baby, no fetal pole, nadda. Dr says because of my numbers two weeks ago and the sac she is hopeful but it's kind of a wait and see if this pregnancy will be viable. We don't go again until 2/21 and I'm a nervous wreck.

We saw our DD and a strong HB at 5w6d so I was really hoping to see something, needless to say I'm a bit disappointed.

Anyone else have an empty sac at appox 6 weeks and go on to have H&H pregnancy?

Don't know how much of a help I'll be because I was showing a fetal pole at around 6 weeks.... however it was TINY and there was no HB until about 8 weeks. I will be keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Oh and DS is a happy, healthy, big boy at 10 weeks and 13 lb 6 oz!

At 6 wks 4 days they saw NOTHING in the sac and told me it was a B/O and I would miscarry that weekend....FF a week and another U/S before scheduling my D&C....baby...yolk sac and HEARTBEAT! I am now almost 29 weeks.

ETA: My levels were really high and good the whole time.
