I enrolled K for preschool in the fall (well, like play school). His older brother will be there (in pre-k), and it's a school that we've used for 4+ years now. They are totally on board with learning everything about K's condition and how to handle it in an emergency (which is really the only time a caregiver other than me needs to deal with it).
And my kiddo rocks. He had a great appointment with his endocrinologist, his labs look perfect and he's completely on track.
DS #3 diagnosed at birth with panhypopituitarism - lack of pituitary function. He is treated with thyroxine, hydrocortisone, growth hormone and testosterone.
DS has been going to the feeding clinic for a couple of weeks. He actually took individual bites of a sandwich yesterday at therapy and at home today! Before now he would just try to stuff the whole thing into his mouth or completely refuse it.

DS won't do that just yet so we end up cutting the sandwiches into bite sized pieces. How are they getting him to take individual bites. DS will only do that if I'm holding whatever he's eating - like when I share apple slices with him.
