What are you using for a hamper?

Just wondering what people are using for a laundry basket. I'm looking for something that wouldn't take up a ton of space. I was thinking I should get a plastic one since baby stuff will probably be pretty messy from time to time. But the plastic ones are huge! Do I really need something that big? What are you using?

I found a small square (not the large rectangle ones) laundry basket that fits nicely in the baby's small closet. Pretty sure I got it at Target

I got one from Target. It's about the size and shape of a kitchen trash can (if that makes sense), and dark brown and cream nylon sort of material. It was in the home storage section.

Very cute!! With DD1 we had something like this and I loved the mesh bag!! With DD2 and this LO we are just using a square laundry basket that fits in the closet.

I have TONS of laundry baskets - Generally there's about 4 - 5 plastic ones sitting in the laundry room ready for clean clothes. I'm that crazy person who likes laundry sorted a certain way.

We have a wicker laundry basket, about 3 feet tall, with handles and a lid. It's lined with a linen-ish material.

At our shower we were given a few gifts in wicker baskets with cute liners so I just plan on using one of those for storing bottles and one for the hamper. Neither are terribly large but definatly big enough to hold blankets, and clothes. You can generally find them on sale at hobby lobby or michaels if you watch the ads.

I registered for a cute little brown canvas hamper that is rectangular and made to stand in a corner. You know- it's kind of like the ones they show around back-to-school time for dorm rooms and such, where you just lift the bag part off the rack to take down to the laundry.

That's the same one we have. Doesn't take up much room at all and has a removable mesh liner.
