2nd Trimester

And so it begins..

My favorite high-waisted pencil skirt? Just tried it on out of curiosity. Waaay too uncomfortable-- zipped up, but unbuttoned and without a shirt. And now I feel guilty for wondering if (and hoping) I'll fit back into it post-pregnancy, and whether I'll be able to find it again in a size 4.

  • I'm the same size. I got a lot of my nice skirts and pants over the past year for my upcoming observations/student teaching, and I'm hoping that I won't have to go out and buy all new sizes.

  • Put those clothes away and don't torture yourself! :) This is my 4th time around and I've always been able to fit back into my skinny jeans. As a matter of fact, after #3 I was at my all-time lowest size and found my weight much easier to maintain than at any other time in my life (and I'm 39!). You'll be soooo proud of what your body has done when it's all over.

  • I am sure you will fit into it again. I weighed less after ds was born than I did before I got pg with him.

    This! :)

Also, I'm in that stage where my high waisted skirts still zip up but they just look awkward. I think it's odd to have a nipped in higher waist and then have this bulge come out from under it, ha. So, even though they fit - I have (for now) passed them onto my sister. My goal is to see them back in a year! :)

  • Don't feel guilty - I had to put away the bulk of my clothes a few weeks ago, and I wondered the same thing. There are so many items in there that I love, and even though it might be a little shallow I was sad thinking that I may never get to use them again. Besides, it would really stink having to practically buy a whole new wardrobe considering that it usually takes a few years to accumulate a decent one!

  • I was pregnant student teaching as well :D

I had JUST gone out and gotten all new dress clothes and BOOM.  None of them fit after about 11 weeks.

    I feel your pain!

Im now rotating three different pairs of dress pants. The kids make fun of me, but whatever! :D

Birds of a feather! lol. It was kind of sad, because I bought that skirt and a few others specifically for school, and I'm not big enough for maternity pants yet. It's a good sacrifice though :)

Good to hear that everyone got back into their regular sizes!
