3rd Trimester

Holy Sh*t!

Pun intended.

I was up all night with severe diarrhea.  I was bracing myself with the walls, sweating and cramping.  I really thought I was having true labor...but I did not birth a baby.  TMI, I know, but I am hoping this is an indication that baby is coming soon.  One important thing to note is that I have a meeting in half an hour to fire someone, so I'm not sure if it's just the anxiety of that meeting, or if this is related to the baby.  I hope I make it through this meeting and then head to the hospital!

  • That happened to me with my first.  I thought it was going to throw me into labor but nothing happened.  Just something off I ate I guess.

BTW, this is off topic but I noticed in your siggy that our babies will have the same middle name, Avery.  I love that name!

  • I have been having a lot of GI problems the last few days (diarrhea, gas, stomach cramps, etc). I asked the OB about it on Tuesday and he said that at about 1 month before delivery yourr progesterone drops and these types of problems are a very common side effect. He told me that it usually resolves after a week. I really hope he is right!

Man, I really wish I wasn't eating chili when I read this. My chili will now be added to Velveeta to make queso (much more pleasant to the eye).
