my lo is 3 weeks old and wakes up every two hours on the dot for a feeding, lol. I know what you mean with the sleep less nights. I hear it gets better and in a couple of weeks they should be sleeping a little longer.
Congrats & Good Luck!!

We never really woke her at night. In fact, her pedi specifically told us not to and she wasn't back to birth weight until just after 2 weeks. She's been very consistent since she was born as far as her night wakings go and they've always been right around the same time.

DD is almost 7wks and during the days eats on demand 3oz every 3hrs. But at night I have never woke her to eat, trust me when they get hungry they will let you know. Also it does get better, the 1st week was horrible for us and we didn't get any sleep, now we can at least get 4hrs at a time:)

Woa, what? I didn't know you could start letting them feed purely on demand !!!! I've been waking him if he doesn't ask to eat when "it's time" and had no clue I didn't have to put myself or him through that, haha... and since he has refulx, I don't want to overfeed him. He's way past birth weight, so this is good to know... I'll do some more research but this seems like a sound strategy.
I still am waking little one up to eat. She goes to sleep and eats about 10 at night and i have to wake her up at 4 or 5 am to eat. she just snacks then goes back to bd for a few more hours. She never wakes up to eat though, she'll wake up and coo to herself and look around but never fusses. We had to wake her up every 2 hours for the first 7 weeks though because she had bad jaundice. and we were told to never let her go more than 4 hours without eating.

During the day my LO eats every 2.5 hours and then at night every 3-4.
I feed her from 11:00 - 11:30 pm, then again from 3:00 - 3:30 and then up for the day at 7:00 am.
During the day I let the times happen when they happen, but the nights work pretty well on this schedule.
Fastest year of my life.
This is what our pedi said.
