So today is Jelly Bean's first day at daycare with no diapers (except for nap time). I left her with plenty of clothes and undies, assuming I would get a large bag of wet clothes at the end of the day. Well as of 2pm she had not had any accidents AND she told the teacher when she needed to poop. This is such a mom moment.
What's your mom moment for the day?
Re: Proud Mommy Moment
Go JB!
Since I have spent a whole 30 minutes with Ky today I have no mommy moment...maybe later.
YAY JB!
Yay you and K!
Wow, that's great about JB!
And so sad about the bite, blue!
I don't have any particular moment for today, but on Friday when we got home from work/daycare, Little Man counted to 10... by himself, completely unprompted. Shocked the you-know-what outta me! I didn't even know he could *say* all the numbers, let alone put them in order!
Add that to the new sentences Peanut says on a daily basis (I busted out laughing the first time she came up to me and said "Hi Mommy, how you doin'?" all casually, like she'd been saying it all her life), and I'm one proud Mommy!
IUI #3 gave us the best 2nd anniv. gift ever: 2 babies! (born 03/09/10)
Peanut and Little Man are getting so big! 2 years old already!

As selfish as this sounds, my proud mommy moment was when the girls mom and I walked out to the DCFS lobby after the visit and Owl saw J and ran to her. I felt so bad for the girls mom but happy that Owl loves being with J.

Get in the tub with them! They would love it when one or both of the parents get in the bath tub with them. LB enjoys it when I take a shower with him. Or you can get a "plastic party tub" that is bigger than a baby's tub and use that to let the girls have a bath.
Seriously. It is. I STILL go into Costco and do a happy dance that we don't have to drop $90 on diapers/pull-ups/wipes (well, we still do buy wipes, but 1 case now lasts us 6m!) And the kids have been PTed for 2.5y.
I am so jealous of all you with kids who PT early. There was a part of me that wondered it they were going to High School in pull ups. LOL.
Blue - I am sorry. It sucks to be on both sides of that issue (parent of the biter and the bitee - we've been there.) Hope it was an isolated event.
We bathed the girls separately when we were alone until they were stable sitting up. I tried the bathing with them, but then you are stuck in the tub with squirm/slippery babies while trying to get yourself out. LOL. #bathfail.
Both kids came home with their good day sticks yesterday. The first one Carter has been able to get this week. And they went to bed easily and quickly last night (could have been the nighttime cough medicine I gave him. LOL) which was good since L and I are both sick and asleep by 9pm.
