Re: ~*Weekly PG Check-in*~
Congrats Jess.O!!!
I'm team blue by the by
QOTW: *laughing my booty off* did you see my panic post below?
Yeah, no. We have to sort a ton of boxes of books to make room int he guest room for my office stuff, and then we can reassemble the crib etc. I seriously doubt it'll happen any time soon. But I did find some cute wall stickers we might get
Update: I go to my weekly monitoring tomorrow so if anything exciting is happening, I'll update.
Otherwise, over the weekend I had elevated blood pressure. I think it's due to the lack of sleep and needing a break from mama duty. It's been good since I slept in Sunday. So we'll see. No other signs of anything being off.
Hope everyone is well!
Updates: he is moving like crazy and it is blowing my mind! It's been a pretty quiet week so there's not really a lot to report.

Yay for Jess O.!
QOTW:
Um..no. We don't move into our new house until March 1. We do have their cribs though and their bedding. (these elephants: https://tinyurl.com/7os95pa
and these dots: https://tinyurl.com/733ayd7
I've been looking at Etsy for art but there's sooo much crap there. And I like kid-friendly but necessarily juvenile - if that makes sense. The room overall will be gray, white furniture, light blue and orange accents.
Updates:
Well...the most important thing is that the babies are still inside and are doing great. As of last week there was still no change in my cervix since my week in the hospital. But I'm on strict bedrest for the rest of my pregnancy. I try to stay positive, I feel like in general I'm a positive person, but I do feel a bit beat-down. I just have to focus on the fact that I'm still baking babies. I'm sick of being in bed, miss playing with Violet, miss sexy-times with my husband (we're always so close when I'm pregnant). Oh, and as I was writing this my doctor's office just called and I have GD. So add that to the list of fun. It wasn't a surprise as my sugars were crazy in the hospital, but still a frustration (and OMG, that 3-hour test sucks). Please call the WAHmbulance.

Congrats Jess O.!
We have the nursery ready - it's currently DD's room. We're going to make the guest room into DD's big girl room. Currently that is a serious work in progress, although we do have her convertible crib and a dresser.
Updates: Still having really bad food aversions and feeling sick every night. I have my a/s next week, so we're excited about that. I'm trying to tell V that we're going to have a baby, so I'll say "baby" and point to my little bump. She always looks at my belly button and then back at me like she's thinking, "Mom, I've seen babies before, and that it NOT a baby."
QOTW: Haven't done much besides pin a bunch of stuff
We're doing grey walls and then aqua, yellow/gold, coral, fuschia accents. I did get a steal on a french provencial dresser on cl that I'm going to paint aqua and will also double as the changing table. I've also picked the paint color so maybe that will go on the walls soon. I've got the cribs picked out but not purchased and we randomly have the car seats and a double snap n go because I found a good deal on that.
Update: Not much going on besides getting bigger and bigger. I feel the girls moving around a lot and that's always fun.
Congrats to Jess O. and hugs to batsteph. Atlantic, I'm sorry you're struggling and I hope this time goes quickly for you!!
My V points to my (now outtie) belly button and tells me "Eww...it's pooping." that makes me feel real nice.

Huge congrats to JessO! She's a rockstar!!!
Hugs to batsteph!
And lots of good vibes to atlantic -hang in there!
QOTW: You would think the nursery would be done since I'm somehow SECOND on the list. We're close, but not done. Since we're team green, we did lots of greige, white, and a little black. I'm really happy with it so far.....now if only I could get MIL to stop sending me cheesy primary colored stuff with characters all over it.
Feeling...tired. And sore. And pretty grumpy. And mostly just ready to meet this baby!
"There is a fine line between a princess and a witch...thinking you're one does NOT give you the right to act like the other." my grandmother
Congrats to JessO!
QOTW: The theme is bermuda starfish (PBK). We left the walls painted a light green and there are accents of bright pink and green throughout the room. My SIL also made me a tag blanket, a banner and a cute bow holder to match. My mom is going to paint us a big painting of an underwater theme of a mermaid to match. I'm super excited.
She's been busy though so it probably won't happen until this summer.
I cannot believe I'm already at the top of the list!! I'm getting so anxious for baby girl to get here. Unfortunately, she seems pretty content at where she's at. I've had a gut feeling my entire pregnancy that I'd go overdue again, so I'm okay with that. I'm hoping to see where I'm at around 40.5/41w before scheduling an induction if I need to go that route.
Not too much else to report. Just wrapping things up at work -- only 2.5 days to go and I cannot freaking wait! The last few weeks have been exhausting and crazy, to say the least, so I'm looking forward to a few days off at home where I can rest and get some walks in to hopefully get things started.
QOTW: Our nursery is still in progress - I've got a bunch started but nothing on the walls yet. Since I posted it on the april board yesterday, I'll show off some pics
. We kind of have an owl theme - my mom's going to be using the decals below to create some canvases in those color schemes. We also have the bed still in the room - planning on leaving that for now (and made an owl pillow/bedding to match the crib).
Updates: I passed my 3hr GD test - woohoo! I guess I technically failed one of the blood draws, but she said it still counted as a pass. Overall I'm feeling pretty good, but am starting to have issues with tying my shoes, picking stuff up, etc. This baby is sitting high and it makes it difficult to do much in the way of strenuous activity.
Update: I had the NT scan on Monday, and everything looked great!! The baby was in there jumping and wiggling around. My risk for the chromosomal disorders came in way lower than for my age group, which is great. I'm starting to feel better--less nauseous, but more headaches, which is lame.Second tri starts on Monday, so here's hoping I'll feel even better starting then!
QOTW: I may be paranoid, but I have not bought one single thing for the baby. I was too afraid until we were past the first tri. So to answer the question, no, the nursery is not ready nor has it been started. But I've got a lot of time.....

Congrats to Jesse O.! I can't wait to hear (read) the birth story and name!
QOTW: We are doing PBK Dr. Seuss theme - though not all from PBK. So far we've got the dresser, and sheets. DH and I can't agree on a paint swatch to purchase as sample/test kit of, and the nursery is still being used as a guest room (which I'm sleeping in because DH is sick).
Update: I'm feeling ok most days. I've had lots of swelling, and wacky blood pressures. At my check up last week the test strips show I'm spilling proteins (+30) and glucose was off the chart (like forest green - close to black). These lovely results landed me in to the lab. They did a 1-hr glucose test, which I failed, and now I have to go back this Friday for the 3-hr.
Updates: Still nothing new to really report. We have our a/s next Tuesday and I'm looking forward to that. I'm enjoying feeling lots of movement from the baby, and DH felt him for the first time a few days ago! So that was fun
QOTW: Blah. Our "nursery" is currently painted neon green (an accident that happened when we moved in, still need to fix it). It is half taken up by a junky old futon. The other half is all the boys summer clothes that had been put away in tubs and that I've been picking through on warm days. *sigh* My house is such a wreck right now.

Congrats Jess.O!
QOTW: Nope, still have a long way to go!
Update: Had a scary visit to the doctor this week when I started spotting. Apparently I am going to be one of those girls who spots a lot. Each time I see it I have a mini panic attack and then have to reassure myself that everything is ok. The only good thing is I got to see my itty bitty baby on an ultrasound
and got a correct estimation of how far along I am since my last cycle was kind of wonky.

Congrats, Jess!!
QOTW: The most we've done for the nursery is put the furniture on layaway and register for bedding. We're doing a Disney theme (Mickey Mouse bedding and tons of stuffed Goofies that DH has collected over his lifetime).
Update: I failed my one hour gtt and go in tomorrow morning for the 3 hour. Wish me luck!

Peeking in...
Hi ladies! Today I am pregnant and I love my baby... So please add me on! EDD 10/15. I don't even have an appointment scheduled yet but hope to have that scheduled by this time next week, given my HCG on Monday is good.
Qotw: we have an armoire that we bought this time last year. That's about it. Want to go mid-century modernish.

Congrats to Jess-O!
And congrats to AustinBride06!!!
QOTW: Well, the nursery is still L's room, so no progress really. We won't do anything until we move him to his big boy room, and at the rate I am moving on his mural, it will be a while. However, I am doing an alphabet theme and I gave out canvases and a letter to my friends so they could create an artwork for the nursery. I've gotten "A" and "D" back so far and I am super excited to see what everyone else is going to be.
UPDATE: I can't believe I am 3rd on the list. I am super uncomfortable all.the.time. I am like a turtle at work--super slow. They have not found a sub for me yet, but I still trudge along making my subplans which sucks majorly. I didn't realize it would be so hard (don't forget that I have to keep up with my normal day to day too). I am starting to have some major BH. I don't remember being this way last time. I know I am being whiny. On a bright note, my friends are throwing me a sprinkle this weekend and I am so excited for that.
GL to the top 2!!!
