I had my d&c this morning and all went well.  We ended up having to wait over 3 hours for my Rhogam shot though.  My surgery was at 7:30am, and I was ready to leave by 10:00 but I needed my shot first.  It took them 2 hours to send it over and then it was sent to the wrong location and then sent back.  The nurses were wonderful and apologized profusely.  It was an issue with the blood bank.  We finally left a little after 1pm.  

I'm glad to be home and resting.  So far I've just had mild cramping and bleeding.

TTC started Oct '10
Me: AMA w/RSD, atypical PCOS w/IR, LPD and High Prolactin. Controlled HP post-loss.
DH: Low-T and borderline morph
18 cycles, 3 medicated w/RE to get to a BFP!
EDD 9/7/12, Saw HB @7w3d,missed m/c 1/30 @8w3d, d&c 2/8
11 AL cycles, 9 medicated/IUI cycles. All BFFN!
Moving forward with IVF
BFP#2 our little cycle break surprise on AL cycle 12! EDD 10/27/13
Beta #1: 41 Beta #2: 398; perfect u/s 3/11 hb @133bpm
u/s 3/25 one perfect hb @183 bpm, adjusted EDD 10/23/13
MaterniT21 and carrier screens normal. It's a girl!!!
Severe Pre-E, HFpEF, PE, AMA & IF= OAD

    I'm so sorry about your loss.  Thanks for sharing.  I will be scheduling my D&C for early next week I think.... still waiting for some blood results.

    DD1 born 5/24/10.

    Missed M/C at 14 wks Feb 2012.

    DD2 born 5/14/13.

    Missed M/C at 9 wks July 2015.

    Expecting someone new 4/17/17.

    My RE and OB said that I either needed to have it as part of the post-op with the d&c or within 72 hours of a natural miscarriage(start of passing tissue).

    hello, i'm so sad, sorry for your loss, lost my twins two days ago at 22w3d :-( also had d&c, i'm back at home but too sad

    Sorry about your loss.

    Im glad to hear that you D&C went well. Make sure that you get lots of rest and drink plenty of fluids.

    So sorry for your loss, but glad to hear all went smoothly for your procedure.  I second PP's words - try to rest up as much as you can, it will make healing a smoother journey.  Sending hugs.

    I'm so sorry for your loss.  I'm glad that physically, you're just having some mild cramping & bleeding.  I hope that you can begin to heal emotionally.
