Hi! I am Mandi 30 yrs old from Dayton, OH area. I had my little man Garrett on 8-20. He is my only two legged child. We have a boston name Buster and Miss Kitty who is about to turn 15! My FI's name is Chad and we are planning our wedding for next yr June 15. Tons more I would tell but most know my story and in a pretty good mood today so dont want to go there.

I'm Betsy, 27 years old from Manitowoc, WI. I had my son, Tyler on 8-19. I hated being pregnant, and we are 99.9% sure we're one and done. DH and I got married 8-1-08 and will have been together for 8 years in March. We have two fur babies, a 4 year old black lab named Maverick, and a 3 1/2 year old black cat named Goose. I also have horses, Luey who will be 5 in April and Ella who will be 1 in March. DH and I both hunt and love the outdoors.

Facts you need to know:
My MIL is crazy. I have tons of stories about her, so ask away (I guess you could say all my IL's are crazy, but she's the worst lol)
I want to be a SAHM so bad it hurts, and it's my NYR to be one by the end of the summer!
I need to be nicer to my husband. (but he drives me BSC!)
I used to live in the south, so I consider myself half city, half redneck, and I like it that way.
Motherhood has turned me "crunchy-lite"
I can recall celebrity gossip from 20 years ago-present, but can't remember what I ate yesterday.

My name is Tricia and I am 28 years old. I married my DH Bruce on September 25, 2009. We were together for almost 3 years prior to getting married. We live in PA, near Philadelphia. My bonus son, also named Bruce, is 8. He is my best little buddy and he lives with us full time. He keeps us very busy. DH and I welcomed our own LO on June 27 (yes, I am a June mom who couldnt find in in her heart to leave the August mommy board). He was due on August 25th but decided that he liked June better and only needed 7 months to bake. He caught up really fast though and is on his way to 19lbs and aside from a recent asthma diagnosis is a very happy and healthy 7 month old. We also have a fur baby named Kolby who is a shih tzu/bichon mix and is 6 years old.

Laura (32 in 3 days!) married to Rob, 37. Scott was born on July 20, induced early because of gestational hypertension. Hi original due date was August 2 according to my BBT chart, but July 31 according to my OB. I stayed here because I love the August ladies too much to leave!

I moved from California to Virginia when Scott was 2.5 weeks old because DH got a new job here.

I'm currently SAH, but will be returning to work part time in mid-March!

My name is Crystal, and the hubs is Jay. We had our bub Jackson on July 21, induced due to severe pre-e and HELLP. I pretty much hated being pregnant and then almost died giving birth. It was swell. I'm totally a sucker for little girls, though, and I'm thinking I'll go up to 4 children until I get one. I have lots of furbabies, including 2 alaskan malamutes, a lab/pit mix and 2 kitty cats. I also have 3 fish tanks. It's my own personal zoo at home, but I like it that way. We live in MA, but I'm not "from" any one place in particular. I like to think I've corrupted DH with my lifestyle, but really he's keeping me grounded.

I'm cobra (Most of you know my real name by now) I'm 20 years old (I know I know) I've been with my SO H for 5 and a half years. I'm a Texan, and usually pretty proud of it except for when Rick Perry does something to make us look bad. I'm a SAHM, Jason was born on August 4th with a head full of hair. I like long walks, (in comfortable shoes) I hate shopping, but I love the thrill of getting something new. I also have a dog named Shakira she's a German Shepherd and a complete nut.

Hola! My name is Brooke and I am 26 years old. I have been married to my DH for almost 2 years, but we have been together for 8. We had our amazing little boy July 15th, original due date was Aug 12th. He came early via c-section due to Pre-eclampsia and spent 8 days in the NICU. Never would know it now, he is a very fast growing little boy! I was a nanny previous to having him, but now I enjoy being a stay at home to my little stinker! We have two basset hounds whose names are Maverick and Cooper, and they have some of the greatest personalities!

I am Madame Ha, from Quebec, Canada. Monsieur Ha is Chinese. We got married on 08/08/08 but have been together for nearly 12 years now. We have two beautiful daughters together. Our oldest daughter turned 2 in September and the little on was born on July 23rd (3 weeks early!), so they are a little under 22 months apart. Dealing with a baby and a toddler can be challenging at times but I wouldn't change it for the world! As for the future, we are still undecided on whether or not there will be another little Ha.

AJ was born 9 days late on August 29. I was induced and went through 22 hours of labor to end in a c-section. He is wonderful and completely takes after me! Totally easy going. He joined us and our two kitty babies. Foogazie (named after the movie Donny Brasco) is a mainecoone, she is 6. Miller "Pants" is a long haired orange tabby and he is 4.

I'm Greta. I live in Phoenix with my daughter Julia and Murphy the dog (my "first child.") I'm kind of a single mom...? Julia's dad and I have dated since I was a freshman in college so going on 7 years now, but we don't live together, though we are on good terms and he helps out here and there.

I'm 25 and work full-time as a civil rights investigator with the department of labor. Thankfully, there were very few "labor" puns made during my pregnancy!

I'm Michelle. 32 years old from Los Angeles, CA. Isaac was born on the morning of August 9 and shares his bday with daddy. Bella (the half chi/half italian greyhound *we think*) and I married Jon on July 25, 2010. Bella is 4 years old and we celebrated our 4 year adoption anniversary last month. I get to work from home 2 days a week, which helps with childcare costs and lets me feel like I'm a SAHM even though I have a full time job.

Our Little Girl Michaela is a happy, smart, and stubron(sp?) little gal. I can't wait to see how pig headed she is when she gets bigger.

I also hated being PG but I really want another but I we are going to wait to start trying till DD is at least 1.

He is my sexy old man, I am forever teasing him because he is 6 years older than me. His B-day is next monday. Our son is Owyn and he was born on Aug. 10, 2011. We are planning to be one and done, though Owyn was a very pleasant surprise so we will see what happens. Misty is my 1st baby she is a 10yr old golden retriever and fantastic big sister! Also have a tank full of guppies and sword tails all kept in line by a rock bass my dh brought back from fishing one day.

He works for the US Postal Service and I work at a local mental health agency with autistic children. We both grew up in the same town and went to high school together, but were in completely different circles (our hs graduating class had 700+ students). We connected through mutual friends 6 years ago and have been together ever since. We were engaged for 5 months before getting married on 4/10/10. I had baby fever before we were even married, lol, so we got cracking after 6 months of marriage and were blessed to get pregnant pretty quickly. Our baby girl was born on 8/3/11 after a successful and easy induction. We can't wait to add more children to our family!

Good afternoon, ladies. I'm Molly (32). Hubby is Alex (31). We living in San Francisco Bay Area/Silicon Valley. We are both lawyers. He works for a big high tech company (one of them a day will keep the doctor away) and I work for a legal services non profit doing civil rights/public interest work. I grew up out here, he's originally from Miami. We've been together for 7 years, married for 2 1/2.

Harper blessed us with her arrival on August 2 after about 36 hours of labor, 24 of them active after my water broke. We love her to pieces, but she's spirited. We've dealt with colic, reflux, a major choking incident, abnormal liver blood tests of unknown origin, and she is no where near STTN - so who knows when/if she'll get a sibling.

Hi Everyone! My name is Haley, will be 31 in 10 days and live in the Phoenix area (AZ). DH and I have been together for 10.5 years and married for 5 of those. We celebrated the birth of our first children, a set of B/G twins on August 14th. Our original EDD was September 7, but they decided to arrive a little early at 36w 4d. We haven't decided, or rather I haven't decided (LOL), whether or not there are any more children in our future. I loved being pregnant at first, until the M/S kicked in at 7 weeks and stayed the entire time! I'm a working mom, part time right now, but quickly escalating to full time and I get to travel a bit for work so my posts are infrequent at best. DH and I have 2 fur babies at home that are rescue dogs so we really have no idea how old they are. I am NOT looking forward to summer!!!

Welcome newbies, I still consider myself one of those, but this board is awesome and an important part of life even if I only browse on my phone and don't post as I haven't figured that out yet. Anyway - "HI"

Heyy-oo! I'm Autumn. I'm 25 and live in CA. My husband and I have been together for 5 years and married 2. We welcomed our woooonderful little love muffin baby girl "P" on 8/17/11. She is the most fantastic thing that has ever happened to me.

My husband is a firefighter and I am a SAHM (which I love!). We would like more kids, the hubbs wants to try for a boy. We also have a furbaby named Stanley- some kind of medium size black dog- we rescued, and have had him for about 2 years.

Hi! I'm Brandy and i'm 29. My DH is James, and he's 32. We'll be married 7 years in April. I am a former elementary teacher, and am currently beginning a new job as an office manager for a chiropractor. DH is service manager for an emergency phone company. Our LO is Ava Marielle, and she was born on 8/19/11. She was born with a unilateral cleft lip and a complete cleft of the hard and soft palates. She had a bit of a rough start with feeding, so is a teeny tiny one but has cute chubby cheeks! She uses a Pigeon nipple on her bottle, and wears an orthodontic device to help with feeding. She also just went through her first surgery (lip and nose repair) on Dec. 12, and did wonderfully. She is an amazing baby-constantly smiling, laughing and chatting at us! Rarely cries, and STTN! She has the most beautiful huge, blue eyes and a full head of light brown, reddish hair that has now turned into a mullet! She loves chewing on her hands, and playing with her kick and play piano! We are so blessed!

Hi ladies! I'm Molly, age 28, and DH (30) and I live in NC. I have a 3.5 year old DS and DD was born on 8.28.11. I am a teacher, but SAH now. We have 3 furbaby cats and it's totally nuts in our house! DH and I met in college and have been married for 8 years, together for 11. DH works crazy long hours so it's pretty much me and the kiddos monday through friday. We are done having babies...2 is perfect for us. We've battled reflux, mspi, feeding aversions, and tongue tie with both babies and somehow BF'd through it all. We use cloth diapers most of the time. I've been hanging around the bump since DS was born in 2008.

I'm Tuna, age 26. DH and I have been together for 10 years and married for almost 3. Ian was born July 25 via scheduled c-section. He's a little rock star! We also have 2 cats and a dog, mini schnauzer. I am a nanny and bring DS to work with me every day. I absolutely love it.

Now that that's out of the way, you must know I am the resident nutella fanatic. I regularly bust the Indiana Jones theme song. My favorite color is green, and I've never had a bikini/Brazilian wax (tmi?). Also, the show Criminal Minds scares the crap out of me. The End.

Well I never did an introduction but I have lurked since a few months pregnant and post about couple times a month.

I am 25. Married to my high school sweetheart on 8-18-07. DH wanted DS on or anniversary so he wouldn't have to celebrate it- it is the one day I try to make him be romantic and plan the night. I was deployed to Afghanistan from March to end of Nov 2010. In December 2010 while deciding if I should go on BC or if we wanted a LO, God decided for us. DS was born 8-29, induced 4 days after he was due, labor was less than 6 hours, sadly only 1/2 of that was with epi--and I wouldn't have gotten that had the nurses checked to see how fast I had dilated.

Not sure if DS will be an only child, I hated being pg, Never did get use to nursing so I EP and also hate it but know it is better for my son. May quit at 6 months. I don't feel that DS is an easy baby, my mom somewhat confirms that DS has/had colic. He is still crabby it seems alot for no reason. This may be the ultimate reason for no #2. But I really want to try for a little girl and/or for DS to have a sibling.

I live in rural ND. I have 3 fur babies, 1 spoiled and jealous pom. 1 rescued in Dec Australian Shepard, and 1 rescue cat. The last 2 don't come in often because they pee sometimes. I also use cloth diapers. So thats my story

Way late, but just finished working.

I'm Valerie (31), my husband is Mark (30). We live in New York City. I'm a former corporate lawyer turned corporate philanthropist, and MH is a banker. Our son is Max, born 08-02 after my water broke unexpectedly 2 weeks early, followed by a crazy fast 4 hour labor. I became kind of crunchy granola in motherhood - delivered drug free and am still EBFing while working despite hating my pump with a fiery passion.

I didn't mind being pregnant, but I truly love being a mother. I'm kind of surprised that I feel this way - I was always very career-focused when I was younger and dreamed of marrying a SAHD. We'll hopefully be adding #2 in another couple of years.

Hi!

My name is Shay, I'm 25 and DH is 43 (I think I get the award for biggest age difference?) we've been married almost 2 years and our daughter, Giulia, was born on August 3rd. In case anyone is wondering: Giulia is pronounced the same as Julia but it is the Italian spelling. We honestly did not think it would be THAT confusing but we've come to learn it is hard for people to read. We are 100% one and done.

DH is a teacher (high school math) and I'm currently working on getting into med school. I'm a SAHM/forever student/amateur photographer/wedding planner. I like to be busy! Currently we live in Seattle but we're moving (back) to Southern California this summer. Hooray!

Also, way, way, waaayyy late.

I'm Alaina and I'm 24. DH is Darren, also 24. We live in St Paul, MN, but are both originally from northern MN.

DD is Natalie Rose, born on her due date August 23rd after a worse labor than I ever could have imagined. I would be dreading the next one already, but seriously, it cannot.get.worse.

DH is finishing up his degree, and I work part-time for the State. Life is crazy and we don't know what the future will hold with DH's work options.

I love to spend time at the lake during the summer. During the winter I read. A lot. I hate the cold.
