What smells are your triggers?

in 1st Trimester

Today the smell of the ink from my pen is making me queasy. I have yet to actually throw up yet, rather I have been ravenously hungry and always have to have snacks on hand, but I have felt nauseous here and there.

What are other triggers for those of you with m/s?

    there's a guy in my office with halitosis, and i swear i can smell it when he's 10 feet away.  when he eats in the lunch room, i've had to move my chair to be as far away from him as possible.  he's a really lovely person as well, so i always am afraid he'll notice.

    The jolly ranchers have helped me some but sometimes it just comes right out! But my DH is a dental assistant & sometimes when he comes home I can tell he uses one of the chemicals which smells like bandaids well yesterday I picked him up & before it didn't bother me but I had to open my windows cause the smell was string to me & as soon as he got home I made him shower & wash his uniform. He was like laughing as I was gagging to the smell. Lol

     Coffee was one of my triggers last pg (I was incredibly sad about this).

     This time it's pizza and hot sauce.  I'm glad it's not coffee, but pizza is tough!

    ugh.. i feel mean saying this but when my H eat anything with garlic no matter how many times he brushes his teeth his breathe smells of this weird scent.. and it makes me gag. He doesn't have bad breath in general its just when he eats garlic which was actually last night and this morning i gag while saying goodbye to him... he looked at me and i smiled... i've been trying to stay away from garlic in our food since i noticed it made me want to vomit.

    All cooking meat, coffee, onions, cologne, perfume, garlic, the glue I use at work and most recently: surgical masks. Like the ones the doctor gives you to cover your cough.

    This time, the smell of miracle whip made me vomit like a champ.  I can't even look at a jar without feeling queasy still. Lay's cheddar/sour cream potato chips were another... and I still can't stand that smell either.

    With DD it was sweet smells, like walking by the bulk candy in the grocery store, jelly, waffle cones baking... ughhhh it made me cringe!

    Right now I can't stand to be around coffee.  That didn't happen last time.  But thank God for pizza!  It's the only thing my stomach can handle.  That and Gaterade.

    We bought a new area rug for our living room about a month ago and either the dye or the fabric makes my stomach turn everytime I walk in the house! UGH!!!

    ANY kind of red meat raw or cooking... Last night DH was making chilli and I threw up twice while he was making it just from the smell of the meat cooking.
