Molly woke up with a yucky rash around her mouth, fingers, tops of feet, and on her legs. My first suspicion was hand/foot/mouth disease so we went back to the pedi the morning.
Luckily it's not HFMD. Her pedi suspects is something called Gianotti-Crosti syndrome. It's a non-contagious, benign rash that some kids get. It's viral and usually totally clears up in 6-8 weeks (!!!) On top of that, the pedi checked Molly's ears, and the one that wasn't infected yesterday, is infected today.
Great. Double ear infections and Paul Giamatti Syndrome (lol).
If you can spare some get well dust for Miss M, I would really appreciate it.
Re: Back at the doctor this morning w/ Molly
It doesn't seem to be. She's just generally feeling punky though.
lol. Crusty Giamatti it ever shall be to me!
So sorry Molly is getting pummeled! Healthy vibes to her!
The rash her pedi thinks is GCS is on the tops of her feet and extends up the legs.
