    We got DD's stuff at Les Gals in Silver Spring (just off the beltway).  Good prices, and there's a 10% off coupon on their site.  They take the time to properly fit the shoes and give advice.

    I just bought some off a mom list serve - check craisglist.

    In addition to the places listed, I've also seen leotards at K-Mart.

    It's not going to help you in PG County, but there is a store in the PanAm Shopping Center at Nutley St. and Lee Highway in Fairfax that sells all kinds of dancewear and dance shoes if you ever need more advanced stuff.
