My BF days are over, but a friend of mine is having supply issues with her third and when I mentioned making lactation cookies, she said she had never done that, but was interested (she loves baking, so this is right up her alley;). I've never made them either, but a quick search on google brought up a lot of options--I know there are several of you on this board who are big fans--what are your favorite recipes?
TIA!
Re: Lactation cookie recipes-favorites?
This is the link someone on the boards passed along and I've made multiple times:

I tend to put more chocolate chips, and last time I accidentally used Irish Style oatmeal (that was more like a grainy consistency instead of flakes) but they actually came out really good - I think I might like them better even.
They worked great for me when I went back to work - I think mostly because I ate a ton of them so it was extra calories throughout the day and particularly for breakfast where I wasn't eating much if I didn't make them (they were an easy grab-and-go breakfast).
There are two at this link: https://www.drmomma.org/2010/08/lactation-cookies-recipe-increasing.html. I made the first one and it definitely helped. I cut the amount of chocolate chips in half and threw in another two scoops of brewer's yeast. Also, I used sliced almonds for the nuts (but I think they'd be fine without any). I'm going to try the second one, probably this weekend, to compare.
