Fetal Eco

Well, we had our fetal eco today. Seemed like it'd take forever for today to get here!

Basically, it was just an ultrasound where they zoom in on the heart & the machine has a higher frame rate to get better live images. After almost an hour of the ultrasound, we waited for about 5 or so mins to see the pediatric cardiologist.

She took us back to a consult room, started going over all the long talk about why they do this test, what they look for, etc etc. As she said each "what we look for" part, at the end she said "& everything looks fine with your baby". She did this multiple times so I would be on pins & needles, then relieved, pins & needles, relieved!

So happy to be getting GOOD news about baby again instead of leaving the hospital crying & in a daze!

(For those who don't know or dont' recall, we found out on 1/23 that our son has ectrodactyly affecting his feet. They wanted a more thorough check of his heart just to be sure all was well).
