Looks like we'll get another peek at baby boy in a few weeks

I had a voicemail from my doctor's office today (can we say, "Scared the crap out of me?"!) The nurse was asking me to call back because the doctor reviewed my a/s and while everything looks fine with baby they just wanted to touch base with me.

I guess since my placenta is so low-lying they want to keep an eye on it so I go back in three weeks for another u/s. She said in most cases this resolves itself (hoping that's true) but for now to take it easy, no heavy lifting, etc. Basically a modified form of pelvic rest. I'm so thankful that everything looks good with the baby in the doctor's eyes, and I just hope that my placenta moves up as my uterus grows! (And yay for another peek at baby! I'll be just over 22 weeks!)

I'm not really sure what a low-lying placenta entails, but I hope it gets on track soon! And yay for seeing baby boy again!

So glad to hear that everything is okay and hopefully the placenta issue will resolve itself quickly. That's really great that you get to see baby boy again!!
