Does any one know the regulation governing these? I have a Soldier that wants to go to the board but her regular Class A's don't fit anymore because of pregnancy. I read that they only issue them if they are required for the Soldier's every day job and in this case, they are not. Any ideas? TIA!!
Re: Army Maternity Class A's
If the commander signs off on her going to C&S to get one she should be authorized to get a uniform.
I'm not reading any where where it says that "have" to be worn for the promotion board...but it says depending on the "formality of the event"
670-1
Chapter 17
c. The Army green maternity dress uniform (authorized for all pregnant soldiers)
I'm not gonna quote the entire thing...but she should be allowed to get it.
Good luck.
Another option could be a letter of exception from the commander for her not to wear them but she could still take them to the board for inspection.
