Hey Ladies,
How are you all doing?
I'm think I'm finally turning the corner on this m/s. I've gone 4 days now without getting sick! It's been a rough 3-4 weeks. I'm so glad I'm finally starting to feel better. I had my n/t scan this morning. It was great to see LO. It's the first time it actually looked like a baby. It was busy moving all over the place. Looked like it was doing some kickboxing. It was really cool. The measurements seemed to be normal, but I will get the official results next week.
Fraggle, you started a trend on the IF board. Ever since us, they have been naming the month's group of people going through IVF.
Re: Cranberries Check In
I'm doing awesomely! My 1st OB appt was today and everything looks good. I haven't been queasy in 3 weeks, and my NT scan is Friday so we get to see LA twice this week! Oh yeah, and we're finally cleared to have sex.Woot!
We have also decided on names (Simon Nicholas or Serafina Marie) and a nursery theme (black and white patterns, since we aren't going to tell the gender when we find out). I also ordered some new maternity clothes and am getting a doppler. Good times ahead... finally!

Beautiful baby girl born 11.24.14
so happy to hear everyone is doing well. i'm getting used to this thing called pregnancy. the nausea gave me a break for a week then reared it's ugly head again 2 fold this week. thank god for that little white pill zofran, it saves my life. babies are both doing great. i heard their hbs on the doppler this week. we've already bought the crib and dresser. i'm a little ocd and want to make sure i can participate in preparing for them in the event i have to go on bed rest. happy end of 1st tri for us all (i have one more week though boo!)
Reily-- i'm having twins also. I was wondering if you are having a lot of cramping/ vaginal pain? it's so hard to tell what is normal pain and what is freak out pain. I thought by this stage in the game i'd be done with some cramping. Dr. says it's normal, so i'm trying to not worry.
I'm doing okay and more focused on the baby growing inside than the baby I lost. It is such a mixed bag of conflicting emotions when you lose a twin. My first OB appt is on Friday and my NT screening is a week from tomorrow. Physically I am having some queasiness, even was nauseous for the first time this weekend and my headaches have not relented but the alternative of not being pregnant is far worse.

Hi ladies! I am so happy everyone is doing well. It's going by so fast, isn't it? I wish I could say that m/s is a thing of the past but I've lost my dinner the past two nights. ::sigh:: Like you, Reilly, I have a hard time in the grocery store--I keep (and have needed) a plastic bag in my coat pocket for emergencies. It is getting better but it's still there. About two weeks ago I slowly started to reincorporate meat into my diet--my lack of ability to eat a balanced meal was finally catching up with me, I think. So far, so good.
I meet my midwife in the 16th and while it is weird to go so long between appointments (almost three weeks since I've seen my RE) it has been a welcome break after being seen so frequently during IVF. We haven't started any shopping yet. Mostly because we want to see what we're having and partly because we are moving on post this month and didn't want more stuff to move. I can't wait to start shopping though--I think we might schedule an elective gender scan in the next few weeks.
I am glad the IF board is following the trend. I know if was so helpful to me to have all of your support during IVF so I'm happy to see others are getting the same.
I gave you life, then you gave me mine.

Hi Anne - Glad to hear you are doing well!
m/s is stuck to me like a bad hemorrhoid ... lol I started getting sick 2 days before beta (had no idea is was very early m/s) and it has not left me since. I have some good days when I can actually eat some dinner but most days I usually vomit all liquids I try to drink. I tried Zofran and Reglan and nothing is really working. On a positive note, we did out NT scan which showed the measurements to be very good (thank G-d!!!) - they don't do the blood work with triplets because the numbers don't mean anything because of averaging. I put back on 3 pounds of the 17 or so pounds I lost but now I haven't kept anything down in 4 days so I don't know where my weight will be again (no worries cause I had the extra weight on me to begin with - got to see the positive in it!). My SCH has doubled so the drs have me coming in every week to keep an eye on it but I haven't been bleeding any fresh blood - only old brown.
