I feed LO with wide neck Dr. Brown bottles. Right now, I pump into Ameda bottles and transfer but there would be so much less bottle washing if I could just pump directly into the Dr. Brown's and I don't want to start over with standard size Dr. Brown's. LO seems to like the wide neck bottles better.
I saw a converter for Avent, but it was too large. (Unless there are 2 different size Avent converters, I couldn't tell based on some internet photos.)
Any suggestions?
Re: Is there a converter from pump to Wide Neck Dr. Brown?
I just received my Avent converter in the mail this week (I use Avent bottles). I don't know if it existed when I had DS but didn't like washing two bottles so bought it for the same reason you mentioned now that DD is here.
The box came with two different sets of adapters, four total. One set matches the Avent bottles and the other set matches the Avent "via cup" style. It looks like they're about the same size but a little bigger, the biggest difference is one set has the threads on the inside (regular) and one has the threads on the outside (via cup).
I think the Avent and wide-mouth Dr Browns are the same size, at least close enough to use the converter...wouldn't necessarily mix bottle parts (not that that's what your asking).
