Another Birthday Party question - Como Zoo

Has anyone every hosted/been to a Birthday party at the Como Zoo? any idea on Cost & is it something better for older kids? 

 

Thanks for all the help  We will have a large mix of ages so I want to plan something fun for all

    They have a few different package options starting at $185/15 people and up to $250/15 people.  The higher package includes cake, pizza, etc.  Both parties include a 45 minute specialist with either a plant or an animal or a tour of an animal area.  They count everyone, not just kids, when calculating cost.

    It seems really fun, and the party could either start or finish with a walk around the zoo to see all the exhibits if it's nice out.

    Thanks for this info, I fear that with a party of mostly adults that could get really spendy.

    I would think so too....it would be good for a drop off party or something like that.

    Have you thought about the Blast in Eagan?  Or pump it up?

    ya I think we are sold on Choo Choo Bobs but thought I would ask about the zoo as I know the MNzoo is not cheap
