Does anyone else feel like there LO is like a toddler already?

I guess I never realized how smart these little beings would be. My DS clearly is trying to play the system with his crying. I am so on to him. Sometimes I set him down in the crib and he acts like the world is about to end and then a minute later when I am gone I look on my monitor and he is already passed out or he is looking at the mobile smiling. Anyone else's LO do this? It gets me all emotional when I leave because he flails around with his little fists shaking but I have to just start thinking of him as a toddler already I guess. What happened to my little baby?

    There are many things that make me realize she's not my little baby anymore. (I realize there is still sooo much to look forward to, but she just already doesn't need me like she used to) 

    She has started fake coughing to get our attention. Usually, it starts out as a real cough or choking on spit up, but after we make sure she's ok the theatrics start lol very cute.

    Also, I swear she's on the verge of crawling. She already gets up on all fours just needs to figure out how to put it all together. I'm hoping it's still a long ways away because the thought of her being able to crawl brings tears to my eyes- she's getting so big

    i can tell you that a 4 month old and a toddler is infinitely different.

    I definitely feel like Elliana is "playing the system" with her crying when we put her down as well. It's cute in a way but sad because she's putting stuff together already.
