I'm a new SAHM and just got licensed to run a family daycare. I would love to find clients but am having a hard time just using craigslist and posters and my area. Where/ how did you find your daycare? I need some suggestions on where/ how to advertise effectively! TIA
Also, I should mention that I searched the State's website for licensed infant care providers in my area, I spoke with mothers in my workplace, I searched the internet, and I drove around my neighborhood looking at facilities.
Re: Where did you find your daycare?
I found my daycare through the San Diego County YMCA's referral service.

Where are you located? I'm in the process of looking for childcare for my 4mo old in mid Jan.
My daycare doesn't advertise. It's all word of mouth. We happened to find it by noticing it on a drive by through our neighborhood.
