Packing with a nearly 3 year old, impossible!

Finally getting around to starting to pack.  I figure since our POD is ordered, and the movers are set up, I should get to it soon.  Packing with Elliot around is seriously impossible.  I was taking all our living room pictures and decor down, and every picture with him in it came back out.  He had to "help" wrap the vases.  He's colored all over the boxes.  Well, there he might be on to something.  Stylish moving boxes lol.  Hopefully if I just do a tiny bit each day the next 2 weeks it will get done.  I can't tolerate a marathon packing section with him right there.

    Don't worry, it will all get done ;)  

    When we moved last year I had to do most of the packing after DD went to bed.  She loved "helping".

    I know! DH and I moved last summer and I figured that as a SAHM I could get a lot of the packing done during the day. Yeah right! Trying to organize and pack with a 3 year old and a 1 year old was a joke. DH and I ended up doing most of it in the evenings...

    I'm going through the same thing with my almost 2 year old. We are moving Friday and I CAN NOT WAIT!!! It will get all done though. I did as pp said, gave DS a box and let him "help" pack his toys.

    The toys thing is a great idea, but I first need to be able to go through them and see what we are keeping and what we are donating.  He has so much crap that I have no desire to take it all but he'd freak and right now I don't feel like teaching him a life lesson about giving.
