I don't know why but I am feeling very overwhelmed with installing DS's convertible seat, was going to try and get some help with installation but all of the free resources are booked up until mid march. Has anyone used the car-seat lady, if so, is it expensive?
Re: Anyone used the car seat lady services?
I think the car seat lady charges either $35 or $50. I'm not positive though.
I can help you if you live in the city as I'm a certified tech, but I'm not sure how well I'll be able to move around car at this time. I can also try and answer any questions you have!
If you're in Baltimore County, they are holding their monthly event on Feb. 15th at 5pm at the Jacksonville Fire Station. I have the number to call if you're interested in making an appointment. If you're in other surrounding counties, try looking up safekids.org for the local coalitions that do monthly seat checks.
Hope this helps!
GBMC also offers this service. Call the parent connection office. (That is the little store in the hospital. You can find the number on the web site.) When DD was born the fee was $35.
I used the carseat lady and i am pretty sure it was $35.
I would rec the free one through the baltimore county fire department. I used them for the infant seat.
Thank you all so much for your replies! I am in Baltimore county, and would love the number for the jacksonville location. I called the BCPD and they have cancelled their feb date and the downtown one isnt until feb 28th! The sooner the better! Thanks again for all your help!
