Period issues

So last month my birth control led me to having a two week period to which I took myself off. This was dec 17 that it started. Now it is the end of January and I have not had another period. I took a pregnancy test a week ago which was negative. Anyone else have this problem or have any advice?

     I am not a hormonal birth control currently. I didnt have a period in december. My period in january was the 16th. It was normal- just fine. The other day i had some very slight bleeding and then it stopped but my period is/was not due for another 13 days. so odd. i did take a preggo test just in case and it turned up negative. what do you make of that???
