pediatrician in mckinney or allen?

I am looking for a new pediatrician in McKinney or Allen. We currently go to Healthy Kids Pediatrics in Frisco. I used to love it there, but their practice has grown dramatically and it seems like they are overwhelmed with all the patients now. So needless to say, I no longer feel it necessary to drive from McKinney to Frisco. If you have a recommendation for a Pediatrician with wonderful staff , supportive of slower shot schedule, and doesn't prescribe antibiotics for everything I am totally interested! Thanks Ladies

    I really like DD's Pedi but it's in Frisco & a larger practice; however, we can always get a same day appt with her Pedi not NP or other Pedi in the practice.  It's Centennial Pediatrics at 121 & Independence/Lebanon & her Pedi is Dr. Newton.  He's only given her antibiotics twice in her life & they were both for ear infections.

    We also use centennial pediatrics. We see dr G, but have seen all of the other drs for sick visits. I would recommend any of them.

    OP - I'm in a bit of the same situation. We've been in McKinney for a year and when DS was born we chose All About Children Pediatric, mostly because its right outside of our neighborhood. We honestly haven't been thrilled with the practice in general but liked one pedi and loved the location. At our 6 mo appt she told me that she's retiring from medicine for the foreseeable future to raise her children. They've already had a lot of turnover at the practice and there are some other things I'm not happy with so we started pedi shopping. I can't find another practice in McKinney that doesn't feel like settling again just based on location. 

     I gave up on McKinney and expanded to Frisco. I've just about narrowed it down to Centennial Pediatrics, TLC Pediatrics or BestNest Pediatrics, so all the good msgs about Centennial from PPs have been reassuring. But if you do come across a McKinney pediatrician that you like, please share!

    We have gone to Pediatric Healthcare Associates in McKinney off of Hardin and Eldorado since DD1 was a newborn (she'll be 4 next month!).  They are great!  We see Dr. Sutton, who is awesome, but all of the other doctors are great too.  They are even open limited hours on Saturdays and Sundays, which is really convenient for sick kiddos.

    We see Dr. Reyes or Dr. Alvis at Stonebridge Pediatrics in Mckinney & they are great.  They just moved to a great new office on Virginia between Lake Forest & Ridge.
