My first "Damn, you've got a lot of kids!" comment. I feel like I've arrived!
So I'm looking into refinancing to get a lower interest rate, and this morning I finally called a lender and started the process. The guy I talked to was super nice, and he let me go so he could call a title place and get a more exact figure for how much this would cost us. He said he'd call back, and I let him know that if he called right around 1 I wouldn't answer because I had to pick the kids up from preschool.
So he asks how many kids, I say 2 and one on the way. He asks how old they are, I say 3 and 2. He laughs and says, "Okay well after we're finished here I'll let you know how this keeps happening!"
Thankfully he caught me in a good mood since he's going to save me money and I just laughed. I have a feeling I need to get used to this though. But hey, maybe once the third is here people will be so in awe of the overall size of my family that I'll stop getting the shocked/horrified looks when they realize how close in age Leo and Charlie are. Silver lining!
Re: It finally happened!
I know right? DH and I joke about this. Have no kids and you never hear the end of it. Have one and you never hear the end of it (gotta get that sibling). At two your family is perfect. Add in the third - what? Are you crazy!?
Ha. I'm one of 3 and that size seems normal. Of course I want 4 but DH said no way.
THREE IS A LOT OF KIDS. You're outnumbered now.
You're a stronger woman than me. So more power to ya!
I'd love to have 4 kids, if I were a millionaire and could not work, and afford help to take care of everything else for me. Otherwise, 2 is plenty. And I may just be stuck at 1 anyways.
omg don't remind me about that! I'm trying to pretend it won't happen that way
Um, so did he inform you as to how babies are made?
If not, PM me and I'll let you in on the big secret.
No I'm still waiting. Very impatiently. Strangely, DH seems to want him to not tell me. Hmmm.
That is so true!
(read it. you know you want to.)

I'm shocked he'd comment on three... that doesn't seem like such an unusual number.
Now I only want two because I figure the rollercoasters at Disney are built for one adult one child in each car.... but.... three seems perfectly normal to me. I don't understand why people think they have the right to comment on our reproduction. Well unless your Michelle Duggar... when the number of kids outnumbers some small towns then we can comment!
