So sorry to bother you. Have you heard any updates from your co-workers about the new center? What i'm seeing on DCUM doesn't sound fabulous so far. Would post the link but that would ID where you work so am not going to.

I haven't talked to my co-workers yet, because I figured they might be ironing out the kinks for the first month or so. They told me to check back with them in March.

When is your daughter supposed to start?

She will start Monday as her spot at her current place has already been filled. I am putting her name back on the June list for her current program, in case these are more than just kinks. I have been prepared for kinks and for things needing some time to get going, but am definitely not happy to read about the class my daughter will be in, on DCUM today. Teachers not saying hit to students or parents in the mornings, kids being talked to sternly, forcibly being put back in their chairs. Ugh.

My co-workers who are using the daycare all have younger kids -- 18 months, 1 year, and 9 months - so they are probably in different classes than your daughter. I'll see if I can catch one of them and see what their impressions are so far.

If you can that would be great. It's funny, now there is another post on DCUM about the class she will be in and someone saying it's going well. I think I have to pay the fees to reserve a spot at her current place for june, just in case. Thanks for seeing if you can touch base with anyone.
