Who is 12+ weeks and still sick?!?

I turned 12 weeks today and I am still sick and suffering from HORRIBLE food aversions. Its funny because with my son I actually threw up more, but I also ate more, so I didn't lose as much weight. This time, I throw up less but eat a lot less so I have lost 8 lbs.

My Ob (who is very conservative with meds) finally offered me zofran but I turned it down because it turns out I am also conservative with meds in pregnancy. I do think preggie pops help with the nausea but not the food aversions. I just want to feel hungry one time! I haven't felt hungry in 5 weeks.

Anyone else still miserable? I was bawling last night to my hubby because it's really getting old.

  • I'm sick of the constant motion sickness feeling.  Will it never end?

  • I still have some morning sickness. I just took a phenergan because of the nausea, I'm hopeful that it kicks in soon.

  • I'll be 12 weeks tomorrow - but there is no end in sight. But I was sick for about 20 weeks with my last.... so in my eyes, I'm only about halfway there.

  • 14w6d.  Threw up this morning...  Patient husbands are a godsend.
  • I was more sick between weeks 11-13 than any other ones. Feel better soon! I found a constant supply of suckers or treats kept me satisfied.

  • 14 weeks and I'm still sick :(
  • I'm 14 weeks and still have it!  It was constant, 24/7, all day everyday, and miserable....but is better now.  At least now I'll have a few good days before I have a few bad days again.  Hopefully that means its going away soon!

  • I am almost 14 weeks and still sick.  I started Zofran on Friday and still sick.
    lolololo
  • I had 2-3 days of no morning sickness last week and I was SO happy. Then over the weekend, I started gagging and throwing up again. Blech. Keep telling myself it will get better soon. The headaches and dizziness settled in too. I'm a hot mess.

  • I am 14w tomorrow and still dealing with some nausea daily and vomitting every now and then. Something like 97% of women will be over "morning sickness" by 16 weeks (that generalization saying it ends with the first trimester isn't really accurate) . With DS, I was one of the small % who kept on throwing up. I finally stopped at 37w. But, that is very uncommon and I don't expect it to happen again with this PG.
  • oh god...this is so depressing..everyone keeps telling me: just wait 2 more weeks and you'll feel better (i'm 10.5 wks) and that is seriously the light at the end of the tunnel for me. I really really hope you all start feeling better soon. I don't know how much more of this i can take, and i'm a full 3.5 wks behind you!!! :(

  • 12weeks and still sick- I feel like mine is getting worse not better. My doctor gave me zofran but it does not help.  I did not have any morning sickness with my first pregnancy so this is all new to me!!!! Hope we all start feeling better soon~
