I have scheduled my first ultrasound!!! I will be going on the 15th, I dont know what to expect being I will only be 6ish weeks.  I had one with my son at 4 weeks in the er and saw the sac ect. but my next wasnt until 10 weeks.  Im high risk and became pregnant '[..[]on clomid so my OB and Peri are monitoring me closely.  Anyone have an ultrasound at 6 weeks?  Where you able to see anything?

    I have no advice but wanted to say YAY! about you scheduling your first u/s. I just scheduled mine today, as well, for March 1st and I can't wait!

    CONGRATS!  with my last pregnancy I went in at 5 weeks (for dating) and only saw the fetal pole- no heartbeat yet and then went in a 6 weeks 1 day (bc of spotting) and saw the beautiful heartbeat!!!  my appointment this time is at 6 weeks 3 days.

    That's so funny.  I concieved my first on clomid and had my first u/s at 8 weeks.  This time around clomid didn't even work and I had to do injectibles and they STILL want me to wait until about 8 weeks.  I am kinda jealous that you get one so soon!  So excited for you.  I wish I had a better answer to your question... I imagine you will see a cute little polka dot in there :)

    I'm having a u/s at 6 weeks too. Our doctor's here (in Ottawa) tend to like to have them to more accurately date the pregnancy. I'm just looking forward to it to get some relief - to see the little monkey actually there and get confirmation that this is for real.

    My last pregnancy, I had a U/S at 6 weeks and I could see the sac and heartbeat. I know everyone is different... My OB even said, if we don't see anything this time, I'm not gonna call anything, I'll just have you come back in one week and see if we can see anything, and there he was..... So I hope that's reassuring!
