i'm going to cook your crockpot rave and need some tips :)

i bought bok choy, but have never cooked with it. how do i cut it up or prepare it? do you use all the leaves?

what do you serve with this recipe?

  • I haven't made that recipe (though it looks delish!) but I often cook bok choy.  I trim the bottom, maybe 1-2 inches off the very bottom where it's connected.  Then I wash it thoroughly and chop the rest like I would celery or cabbage, both the white and green parts are yummy.

  • Mmmmm so yummy. Bok Choy tends to be gritty, so make sure you wash it real well. I cut it in strips and included the rib. (all but the bottom inch or so) I served it on rice with a salad on the side. My friend stir fried some veggies and added some of the meat and sauce at the end. You could also to tacos.
