DH and I met a fellow ("R") at a GYRIG 5k a couple of years ago. Jon and R were diagnosed w/ similar cancers at around the same time, though their treatment was different (Jon went through chemo/radiation immediately, then surgery- R had surgery first then follow up chemo). We've kept up w/ their family, met up at different races, etc. He (R) is scheduled to run Austin's full in a couple of weeks!
Anyway, I just saw on fb that "R" has some areas of concern on his most recent CT. Something in his pelvis and a spot on his lung. It'll be a couple of weeks before they find out what's going on.
In the meantime, would you please send our buddy some "it's nothing" dust?
Re: eff, eff, eff, eff. t&p for a friend, please.
