Into and Questions

Hi,

I'm the very blessed Mom of a Micro-Preemie, born May 2, 2011. DD was born via an emergency c-section at 25 weeks. She weighed 1 lb 3 oz and was 11 inches long. Today she is 9 months old and weighs 12 lbs 5 oz and is 24 inches long. She spent 4 months in the NICU at INOVA Fairfax Childrens Hospital (LOVE them), and came home in September of 2011.

It's hard to believe that she will be a year old soon. She's been through so much and has fought so hard to get through her time at the NICU, but she's a fiesty little girl. She just amazes me... barely a year old and she's already a better and stronger person than I ever could be.

My questions are more recommendations... I am of course getting excited about her approaching birthday, and am looking for recommendations of an awesome bakery for her cake and a room or place to have it that allows you to bring you own food and beverages. Both need to be in Northern VA and closer to Prince William County... Woodbridge/Lake Ridge/Montclair area would be best for the place or room.

No recommendations, sorry, but I did want to say congratulations and welcome!!!! It sounds like you've both been through a lot - what an amazing accomplishment!
