Who went with you to court?
Aside from your spouse and child(ren), who went to court w/ you when you finalized your adoption?
Also (and forgive this rediculous question) - if you didnt bring anyone else, who took the picture of the family with the Judge?

We took both sets of grandparents! Our attorney took one with all of us and the judge and then we got another one with the attorney and the judge took that one!
Our parents took some of just the three of us with the judge.

We took my husband's dad and step-mom, his sister and her family and my aunt went. Theses were all the familiy members who could make it to town on the day of.
Mostly the family took pictures, but we did a big group shot with the judge and the bailiff took the picture for us.
TTC since May 2006. After 3 failed Clomid cycles, 2 failed Injectibles/IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, we moved on to adoption!
Last ditch FET resulted in BFP, and identical twin girls!
Both sets of grandparents, my best friend/husband/son, and our social worker. It was great fun! Don't worry, there will be someone around to snap a pic!
Oh, and we all went out for breakfast after. I highly recommend a little celebration right after you leave the courthouse. :-)
Two Mommies Healing Hearts
We had a crowd!! We invited my parents, my 2 sisters, and 4 cousins, plus our caseworker.
The bailiff took our pictures!
It was just us and the kids ( and lawyers of course). The court clerk ( who was a friend but we had no idea she would be there) took the pics. My favorite one was one DH took fo our then 2 1/2 yo son sitting on the judges lap and banging the gavel saying his new full name.
