Does my LO have a HOOK NOSE?! lol (PIP)

A lady that I work with, and recently added as a friend on FB, told me today at lunch, "I saw the ultrasound pics of your daughter...it appears to me that she has a hook nose." She was dead serious. I didn't even know what to say back to her...haha.

Whaaaaat??? Why would she say that? Now I'm all paranoid and shiit looking at all of the ultrasound pics....and I think she has a cute nose. I'm not too sure what a hook nose is but I will post a pic of what comes to mind when I hear the term "hook nose." Please tell me my baby has a cute nose and will not look like the other 2 pics. LOL

First of all, your baby's nose is perfectly fine and very cute! Secondly, that lady is a gigantic ass! Sorry, but that's just a rude thing for her to say.

Umm well I can't see the pics on my comp but I'm sure her nose it adorable! And seriously, if someone told me that I would not be able to contain myself. I would call her a big b!tch and probably smacked her in the face. What a twat.

Well, she looks adorable to me!! What a rude thing for that woman to say, even if it had been true (which it's not!). I've always been rather sensitive about my own nose, even though it finally started to look better after I "grew into" it, so I'm extra-offended on your behalf!

I also wanted to tell you, I haven't had a 3D ultrasound, but at the growth ultrasound I had last week, the picture they gave me of baby's profile made him look like he had a bit of a hump on his nose (like Mr. Burns, LOL) and I was like, "Oh, crap- my baby's got my nose!" but then I realized first of all- who cares, as long as he comes out healthy, and secondly- it seems like a lot of babies have that squished-nose look in an ultrasound. After all, it's a picture being taken by sound waves, through layers of fat and a placenta and God knows what else- probably a lot of things look sort of distorted in an ultrasound. But in your baby's case, her nose is lovely and that woman needs to shut up.

Your DD's u/s photo is VERY adorable and that woman deserves a throat punch. I am a very honest/blunt person in real life and even I cannot believe how rude she is to say something like that. Your daughter does not have a hook nose AT ALL. That woman obviously has mental problems.

Thanks girls for the confirmation that she has a cute nose! I don't even know why I let her comment bother me....this is the same lady that tells me every time she sees me how fat my face has gotten, how funny I walk, and that it's my fault I have chronic hypertension bc I eat meat. She is really a pain in my butt and I try to avoid her as much as I can.

I agree with PP that she must not have been very loved as a child. If I could get my foot up off the ground more than 3 inches I would definitely drop-kick her. LOL

WTF is wrong with that b!tch?!?!? First off, she is the gross. Unfriend her. Imagine the kind of junk she'll say when you post pics of your little girl after she is here! You don't need that. If you're afraid unfriending her will make it awkward at work, if she asks you about it, say something like, "Strange, I wonder how that happened. I'll have to look into it..." And second, your little girl does NOT have a hook nose! With a nose that tiny, you wouldn't even be able to tell unless it was a profile shot! She has a cute little button baby nose.

The next time you see that woman, please kick her for me, even if it's only in your mind. Thanks Wink

your baby is perfect and has a perfect nose. they can only adjust the depth settings so much and it sometimes looks like there is stuff sticking out of baby parts that is really just fluid and other floaters hanging around. but i truly don't see anything hooky about the pic. coworkers are idiots. seriously, unfriend her.
