Can we have some "get well" dust, please?

Will is super sick...he's been throwing up all morning and started running a really high fever this afternoon. Finally got his temp down to 104* and now we're attempting to keep his fever under 104* right now alternating Motrin/Tylenol and giving lukewarm baths per the pedi's instructions. I really would like to avoid a trip to Dell tonight, so if we could have some "get well/fever go away" dust, that'd be great!

Re: Can we have some "get well" dust, please?

  • Sending *Fever get your butt under 100 degree* dust your way.  Poor guy.

And Will looks like he needs a superhero cape on in your siggy.  Too cute.

  • Get well, Will. Sounds pretty similar to what Gracie had twice in January. Super high fever that was really hard to get down. She got to the point where she refused baths so I would put an ice pack on her head and move it around on her body and gave her lots of popsicles to keep her hydrated. Good luck!
  • Poor kiddo!  Get well, Will!

  • yikes, that would make me nervous, H has never sustained a temp that high!

hope the fever stays under control and breaks quickly.

hope you also don't have to head to the hospital either.

Oh yes, I was freaking out this afternoon. I've never seen a reading that high on the thermometer! I'd been giving him Tylenol, but he kept throwing up, so I doubt he'd kept any of it in his tummy

Thanks for the dust! I'm going to run out and get some popsicles once DH gets off work - that sounds like a good idea to keep him hydrated.

I am super proud of him though - I thought potty training was going to go to hell, but he hasn't had any accidents [not that he's been peeing much, but still!]

  • yikes, how scary.  Sending lots of "get well dust" your way.
  • Hope your little guy feels better soon.  That sounds miserable! :(
