I'm not stressing about this, I swear (I'M NOT, LLCG!) Just wanting to know if any of you have dealt with it. I got more info on the positive antibody screen in my 1st tri bloodwork on Friday, and they said it's something called 'anti little e'. Yeah, clear as mud. Basically it's the "best" of the antibodies you could have, but could still pose some threats if my titers rise. Which we're just going to go ahead and assume they will not, because they're super low now, so low they had trouble detecting which one it was. I think the fact that this is the first pregnancy it showed up in is a big plus, it seems like it usually worsens during subsequent pregnancies (and I, my dears, am SO DONE after this).
After some major freaking out on Friday, I did end up switching to the new OB. I met with him and loved him, and will be delivering at the better, bigger hospital, so that's making me feel better. He has a perinatologist on staff to see me if the titers should rise, so I'm just feeling a lot more comfortable with all of it now (3rd c/s, probable GD, and now the antibody....ugh!)
So .... anyone have this and want to assure me it was no biggie? It's obviously quite rare (there's not much info out there, and when I spoke to Dr. S's nurse today she had to google it), but thought I'd check.
Or if you could just offer up some dust that the new OB's bloodwork finds this all to be a fluke (he wanted to do his own at his lab, should have results tomorrow) ... I'll take that, too. This baby is a dramafest, I tell you.
Re: update and question
Hmm. Ok. I believe that you are not stressing at this moment.
BUT I'M WATCHING YOU!
Lots of fluke and/or non-serious outcome dust!
Breathe. (ha, coming from someone who has had to tell herself that all day!)
