There are so many cribs out there! Even Baby Bargains is overwhelming for this topic. Its not important to me that it convert because our bedrooms are small but I still want it to have that type of look rather then the more modern IKEA ones. What crib are you using?

Ours is discontinued (it's 2 1/2 years old), BUT I do recommend that you get one that isn't as expensive, that will maybe convert to just a toddler bed, but not a double.
Enough of my friends have had their kids chew through their cribs to convince me never to buy "forever" nursery furniture. We got a simple crib and changing table that's sturdy enough to last through two babies (we're saving the nursery furniture for #2 in a couple of years). It's still doing well two years later.
