Officially (according to the pregnancy wheel) I am 27 weeks today. However, at my OB appointment today my Dr told me that I am actually 28 weeks because my cycles are only 24 days.
Is this like when they changed from the Julian to the Gregorian calendar back in the 16th century and a week was skipped?
Anyway, hello 3rd trimester!

Re: Interesting...
Welcome to the 3rd Trimester!
My Doctor has my due date as April 19 instead of April 18. But I'm not changing it for just one day.
They usually just use the wheel with the date of your LMP but of course for women with cycles longer or shorter than 28 days it will be off a little. With a 24 day cycle it shouldn't be off by that much and shouldn't matter much this late.
At my first OB appt, they hemmed and hawed about my due date because they were comparing my LMP date, dating on my first u/s's, and O date - none of which "agreed" on a due date. Luckily, they were all within a week so they just went with LMP to make it easier.
Congrats on 3rd tri

Thanks guys!
Considering how early DD was, I'll take "credit" for the extra 4 days... I just hope we don't need to worry about that this time around.
They didn't have an accurate date on DD either... I had charted and my "O" date, what the wheel said and my dating ultrasound were kinda all over the place. I had like a 10 day window between earliest and latest estimated due date. Evie measured big the entire time, so they assumed the earlier date was most accurate. Turns out my chart was right and it was the later date. She was born without a suck, swallow breathe reflex, so they knew she had to be less than 34 weeks gestation.
We didn't chart this time around. DS is a whatever happens, happens baby. LOL.
