We CD DS with prefolds and either Mommy's Touch OS covers or Bummis Super Whisper Wraps. It seems like lately, both kinds of covers aren't doing a great job. DS is wetting through his pants more often than when he was a newborn. So I'm looking into getting some new covers.
We used Thirsties when he was NB and didn't have issues with those. When he grew out of them, I wanted to get something that would grow with him, hence the Mommy's Touch OS. Now I'm looking at Blueberry Coveralls, Rumparooz, and Thirsties Duos. The Thirsties Duos were recommended to me by a friend, but they are sized. The Blueberry and Rumparooz are OS, so assuming they work well, I could probably use them for longer. (They also have cuter prints and let's be honest--that's 50% of the draw of a cloth diaper anyway!)
Does anyone have any experience with any of these brands? What would you lean towards if you were me? Thanks!
Re: Opinions on covers
We have had great success with the BB coveralls, but we mostly use it at night over her night time diaper. It's really big and cut generously. The RaR has also worked well for us, and is a little narrower. The duos have never fit my LO right, and the rise snaps come undone easily.
That said, I prefer sized covers. They fit better, and you get a lot of use out of the medium size because this is the size most LOs stay at the longest. We has worked the best for us are bummis super brite and thirsties sized covers.
The coveralls have extra leg gussets, like Thirsties.
