So I had a csection with my son, it was planned (as in less than a month before my due date) because he was breeched. My bf and I are ttc right now and I know one of the first question people are going to ask are if I am going to do a repeat c-section or try for a VBAC. Its something I have been thinking about since Olivier's birth in 2009, so almost 3 years now. And almost every other day I change my mind. Right now I am thinking repeat, but just the other day I was like, I want to try! Does anyone have a good site where I can get good and non biased information on the pros and con's of VBAC or repeat c-sections?
Thanks in advance!!
Re: Info on VBAC
This is a good post on the VBAC board: https://community.thebump.com/cs/ks/forums/thread/62936295.aspx
The VBAC board itself can be found here (and is a great resource!): https://community.thebump.com/cs/ks/forums/9841109/ShowForum.aspx

There is some good information that the ACOG (American College of OB/GYN) puts out. I believe it is on their website but I got it as a pamphlet from my doctors.
Do you like the doctors in your practice? If so I would definitley get there opinions, I did at each of my visits (I am lucky in that I respect all of the docs in my group practice).
In my case I was debating in the TTC/early weeks and months but was leaning more and more to RCS as I entered my second trimester. My first was after 18+ hours in labor and failure to progress, I had a very positive birth experience and easy recovery so that made the decision easier.
It turns out that DB is breech, so I am glad that I kept an open mind and wasn't 100% set on VBAC, since I might be heading down this road even if I didn't want to
