Rave: Birthday party at the zoo

A friend of mine had her son's birthday at the National Zoo yesterday and it was so fun! The zoo staff were really great with the kids and gave a nice tour of the amazonia section. I guess there are a few different options for areas of the zoo to be the 'theme' but this one was perfect for February.

So, if anyone is looking for a party location- this was a lot of fun!

    Thanks for the rec. I didn't even think of them as a potential party place. DD loves the zoo so this definitely might be an idea for the future.

    I'll have to keep this in mind.

    It totally sucks to have an end-of-Jan birthday to plan!   I always throw in the towel, and just plan something at home.

    our friend's little girls had her 4th bday party there a couple of years ago and it was really well done and a lot of fun. but I thought they said that age four was the youngest that they would do a party for...however, I could be wrong, or they could have changed it.

    the party was for a kid turning 4 but there were kids older and younger. it would probably be best for the 5-7 age range but the zoo guide kept it moving for the younger crowd.
