I pass by that little Mexican food place on 1825/Pecan St several times a week at lunch and it's always crowded. Or looks crowded. Anyone ever been? And I missing out on some awesome Mexican food that's just a couple miles from my house?
To me, it depends on what kind of mexican food you like. My favorite is Chuy's tex mex so I think El Rincon is good, but I would pick Chuy's over it. It is a more traditional Mexican Food restaurant. The food is cheap also. I just asked DH what he thought and he said that it is a traditional small town restaurant, friendly service, and good food. We have been known to stop by there and just get chips, salsa, and queso to go.

My DHs mother lives in Pville. El Rincon is good, we like their breakfast burritos. I have a groupon for them I'm probably not going to use if you want it, pm me.

It's decent. Nothing fancy. Their margaritas are really good. It's cheap and good service. Enchiladas are pretty good. It's not the best food ever, more just homemade type food.
I'm not in love with their food. I prefer Casa Garcia's in P-ville more.

x3. But Rio Grande > Casa Garcia > El Rincon. El Eincon isn't bad, just not as good. If you want to try it, go on Mondays. Kiwi is there and she does balloon animals and great face painting.
It's not bad but if you really want a good Mexican food place to eat got o Casa Garcias! DH and I are hooked. It is kind of our little place. DS loves their pancakes and in my opinion the best tasting flour tortillas and salsa around! Try the Migas...YUMMY
