Ugh, I should have worn maternity pants today

I read over the weekend that you should need maternity pants at 4 1/2 to 5 months. So I thought I'd wear some regular, but larger jeans today with the rubber band. I wore maternity pants all all last week and it was wonderful and today I am miserable. I guess there's no going back. It's fine when I'm standing up but sitting is a nightmare.

  • I'm approaching the point of no return. For awhile I've been able to wear my favorite jeans with a bella band, and last weekend I was able to do so comfortable, but I tried it yesterday and I just couldn't do it.

And the worst part is, you don't really get how bad it is until you get to work! Like you said, the sitting is terrible. Lol.

I'm sorry you are so uncomfortable! Hang in there!

  • buy some at lunch. regular pants are long gone for me.
  • LOL maybe it is the twins, but I hit the point of no return a while ago.  To be honest, I am done with flies and snaps.  The one day I wore jeans with the belly band,it was the fly that annoyed me.  People who pee as often as we do can't bother with flier :)

Same here (and I'm only having one!)  I thought about pulling out a pair of regular jeans the other day and then thought "What am I doing???"

That makes three of us then. Only one baby here but #2 so maybe that's why. Regular pants with the rubber band or bella band are too uncomfortable - I find that with bending over or sitting on the floor all day with either my toddler or my patients the bella band slips off - I'm constantly replacing it and it's a pain!

  • The first trimester I didn't gain any wait but I was so bloated that I was buying maternity pants by week 9 because sitting was just awful! Once I got used to the no buttons and zipper I realized how comfy they are, I don't know how I'll ever go back to regular pants!

  • I have decided that I should just wear maternity jeans forever. They are so comfortable. No waistband. No possible muffin top. No cutting into my stomach. Smooth appearance. It's like comfy pants with spanks together. I'm in love.
