early morning scare with good ending

So i woke up at 4am to spotting! Of course I totally freaked out. It was light pink spotting, but to me still a cause to panic especially at 4am. I went to my RE in the morning and turns out both twins a happy and healthy and the heartbeats were still there. I was so relieved. The doctor actually said both babies are measuring ahead of schedule. As far as the cause of the spotting, he really wasn't sure but said that the cervix irritates very easily. Normally he would release me to my OB at 8 weeks, but he wants to see me one more time due to the spotting. I am so glad this turned out well, I was so happy to see my babies are okay.
